PatientPartner is heading to CNS Summit 2026, November 1–4 at Encore Boston Harbor, with Coffee Connect: a way to meet someone worth knowing and keep the conversation going after the conference. George Kramb and April Lewis will be there, along with our morning barista bar experience and a simple idea: make more room for human connection.

If CNS Summit is on your calendar, you can join Coffee Connect ahead of the event. Share a short profile, tell us what interests you, and give our team a starting point for a thoughtful introduction to another attendee who joined.

More ways to connect. A reason to make it personal.

Life sciences is exploring what AI can help teams discover, organize, and accomplish. Alongside that progress, we want to keep asking what makes an experience feel human: being listened to, finding common ground, and hearing a perspective shaped by someone else’s experience.

Technology can help create the conditions for those moments. A short profile can make an introduction more relevant. A platform can make a conversation easier to start. The relationship grows through what people choose to share, the questions they ask, and the time they give each other.

That is the thinking behind Coffee Connect. We want to help conference conversations continue beyond a brief hello. A shared challenge in clinical operations, an interest in patient advocacy, or a different perspective on trial participation could be the beginning of something worth continuing.

The same belief behind PatientPartner

Our work with patients starts from a similar belief: relevant experience is valuable when someone has an opportunity to share it. PatientPartner connects patients and caregivers with peer mentors who have navigated similar health experiences, including clinical trial participation.

Someone considering a trial may want to understand how visits could fit around daily life. Someone already taking part may want to talk about the questions that arise between appointments. An experienced peer can offer a personal perspective and help them think through what they want to discuss with their study team.

Our platform helps make those one-to-one connections accessible and gives program teams more context about participant experiences. Mentors share lived experience; medical advice and trial care remain with the study team.

Coffee Connect brings that belief in shared experience to the people working across our industry. Everyone comes with something to contribute and something they might learn from another person.

Your next conversation can start before CNS

Joining starts with your contact details and four quick questions: your corner of the clinical world, what you have experience with or enjoy talking about, your interests outside work, and the word that captures why you entered the field. Outside-of-work interests are optional. There is also room to share something you would be happy to contribute.

One week after CNS Summit, our team starts reviewing profiles and looking for common ground among attendees who joined. When we find a relevant match, we make a personal email introduction and send each matched person a $10 coffee card. You can arrange a virtual coffee whenever it works for both of you.

Introductions depend on who joins and the connections our team finds, so a match is not guaranteed. The aim is a useful starting point for a conversation both people want to have.

Come for the coffee. Leave room for a connection.

At CNS Summit, stop by PatientPartner’s morning barista bar for a coffee on us and a chance to meet the team. Joining Coffee Connect is optional, so enjoy your coffee either way. You can complete your profile ahead of the conference or use the QR code and iPads at the coffee experience.

George and April would welcome a conversation about the human side of clinical trials and how peer mentorship can fit into participant support. To hear more from our team, select “I’d like to learn more about PatientPartner” in your Coffee Connect profile.

We look forward to the ideas CNS Summit will bring together, and to the people behind them. If you are attending, give your next conversation a place to start.
